Review : Miele makes a lousy cooktop
While we have had great luck with Miele washers, dryers and dishwashers, the 36" gas cooktop we bought is terrible. For example, we have to light the burners with a match as Miele was unable to fix it under warranty. It's very difficult to simmer anythign without burning it. The controls suck. Even the painted on Miele name washed off the top after a few months. That let us to believe even they were ashamed of it. I'm going back to Thermador cooktops when we get rid of the Miele.
